Privacy Policy

Course Backup ("the extension") is a browser extension operated by Bluemangoes Media. This policy explains what the extension does with your data. In short: it works inside your own browser, we run no servers, and we do not collect, store or sell your data.

What the extension accesses

• Course data from your course platform. When you click the extension's button on a supported platform page where you are already signed in (currently Kajabi), it reads the names of your courses, categories and lessons, the lesson text, and the links to the videos, audio, images and files attached to them.
• Your Google account, only if you choose Google Drive. You sign in with Google and approve access. The extension asks for the drive.file permission only, which lets it create and manage only the folders and files it creates itself. It cannot see your other Drive files.

What it does with that data

• It shows your courses in a dashboard inside your browser, measures file sizes, and copies the files you select to the destination you choose: a folder on your computer or your own Google Drive.
• Files travel directly from your course platform to your destination. They do not pass through any server of ours.
• The extension saves the scan results and file sizes in your browser's own storage on your device so you can resume. Uninstalling the extension or clearing the site data removes them.
• Google sign-in tokens are kept in your browser only while needed to upload and are not sent anywhere else.

What we do not do

• We do not collect, receive or store your content, your account details or your Google data on our servers.
• We do not sell, share or transfer your data to third parties.
• We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking.
• We do not use Google user data for advertising, and no person reads it.

Google API Services

The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can remove the extension's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Your content

Course content belongs to you or to the course creator. Only back up content you own or have permission to copy. Files saved to your computer or Drive are under your control; deleting them is up to you.

Children

The extension is not directed at children under 13.
